The Harcourt 1841 crystal glass can be recognized by its powerful line. From the flat sides of the parison to the geometric line of the bevelled leg and the hexagonal foot, all the know-how of the Baccarat crystal factory.
The "L'Imparfait" version, in black crystal, was designed by designer Philippe Starck in 2005.
The designer breaks the codes, and offers black crystal against all odds.
Problem ? The black crystal is very difficult to achieve (five oxides are used in minute doses for a black that does not draw either yellow or blue), most of the time presenting a defect of manufacture.
Philippe Starck invites us to explore the darkest side of nature from which springs the light of crystal in all its brilliance.
